Mr. Yu Zhong, born in June 1968, graduated from Shanghai University of Political Science and Law in 1989 and began his legal career at Shanghai No. 7 Law Firm (renamed Shanghai Waitan Law Firm in 2001). He obtained his lawyer’s license in 1990. From November 2001 to August 2011, Mr. Yu served as Director (Managing Partner) of Shanghai Waitan Law Firm.

With 22 years of legal practice, Mr. Yu has handled hundreds of criminal, civil, and commercial cases, including numerous major and complex cases. His portfolio includes Shanghai’s first trade secret infringement case as well as a wide range of foreign-related matters. Mr. Yu has served as long-term legal counsel for dozens of companies and enterprises, and he specializes in resolving disputes involving corporate law, investment, and real estate. Known for his rigorous and meticulous approach, he consistently strives to safeguard clients’ lawful rights and interests, earning widespread praise from his clients. Since 2003, he has been honored annually as an Outstanding Individual by the Pudong New Area Bureau of Justice.
